Minimum Requirements

  • AutoCAD, WinQS, QSPlus, CostX, Candy/CCS, Bluebeam Revu
  • Microsoft Project or similar project-scheduling software
  • Civil 3D, Civil Designer, WADISO
  • Relevant Civil, Electrical or Structural Engineering software
  • Knowledge of contract forms like JBCC, GCC, NEC3/4, FIDIC
  • Understanding of applicable SANS standards and relevant engineering norms.
  • Knowledge of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), and Employment Equity Act.

For Quantity Surveying graduates, current professional registration as a Candidate Quantity Surveyor with the South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP) is considered advantageous.
