Programme Duration and Location

This fellowship is a 3-month remote programme. It is open to individuals residing in any African country. Participants will engage in virtual activities, requiring access to a reliable internet connection and a functional computer.

Minimum Requirements

To be eligible for the Africa’s Data Future Fellowship 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a postgraduate degree.
• Have at least one year of professional experience in social sciences, law, technology, data policy, or related fields.
• Be from and currently reside in any African country.
• Be currently working or professionally engaged in data governance, digital policy, Artificial Intelligence, technology, or related areas.
• Work within sectors such as government institutions, private sector organisations, AI start-ups (fintech, edtech, healthtech, agritech), research institutions, policy think tanks, universities, or civil society organisations.
