- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Be unemployed.
- Reside within the Gert Sibande District.
- Possess the specific qualification required for the internship applied for.

- Meet any additional ETDP SETA programme requirements.
Specific qualification requirements for each internship are:
- Supply Chain Management: Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management (NQF Level 7).
- Human Resource: National N Diploma or Diploma in Human Resource Management (NQF Level 6).
- Fleet Department: National Diploma or National N Diploma in Fleet or Logistics Management (NQF Level 6).
- Facilities Department: National Diploma or National N Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 6).
