Programme Duration and Location

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for these Learner Artisan apprenticeships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Meet the academic requirements, which can be one of the following:
  • National N6 Certificate with relevant trade subjects.
  • National N4/N5 Certificate with relevant trade subjects.
  • Grade 12 (Matric) with at least 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Physical Science, and 40% in English.
  • N3 with at least 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Science, and 40% in English.
  • NCV Level 4 with at least 50% in Mathematics, 50% in Science, and 40% in English.
  • Ensure that the technical subjects studied are relevant to the artisan trade.
